My Journey
Since childhood, my father would encourage me to seek curiosity and see the world, besides drawing and playing with my friends.
As i did my first solo travel at the age of 15, I quickly found the importance of culture, art and languages while meeting people from different corners of the world. I was simply fascinated by their experiences and differences.
In 2010, I took my travels further and moved to the U.S for a high school exchange year. There, I discovered acting and theatre, as well as creative writing and poetry.
Things changes shortly after turning 18, becoming discuraged to be creative by the environment I was grown up in. “You cant make money with art”.
Instead, I started studying Veterinary Medicine in 2014 in the pursuit of my second biggest childhood dream.
Due to my love for languages and travels, I saw an opportunity to study once again abroad, and managed doing parts of my education in 4 different countries in 4 different languages, trough scholarships and European exchange programs.
While in my 2nd year in Spain, I picked up my creativity by dancing Ballet, Vogue and Pole dance on the very few study free nights available. This however, did not quiet down my urge to do more art.
During my 4th study year in Italy, the call for art became ever so loud after visiting Rome on multiple occasions; In the end studying medicine only felt rewarding, but not completely fulfilling.
Shorty before graduation, while doing an internship in Germany, I had had enough of the square institutes, and made a promise to make way for a creative path.
In 2020, I was asked by a friend to make a commissioned art piece on a canvas. Later on I was encouraged to do more than just painting for myself.
Intimidated by the thought, It took me until early 2021 to give art a more serious chance and create it for others to experience and inspire.
Until today, I’ve kept that promise.
